The 540-5309-BEI 2" Socket Renegade Gunite Venturi Skimmer Beige is an in-ground skimmer that can actually double the skimming action and cleaning power as compared to other conventional skimmers without even increasing energy costs. This skimmer has a massive 9-inch deep basket (twice the size of standard skimmer baskets) that can hold 289 cubic inches of debris. Its basket and vacuum plate lock into place instead of floating up when the pump is off. The Weir door is spring-loaded for easy removal without the need of screws. It is also NSF approved for 75 GPM flow rate which is considered the highest in the industry. It has a length of 15.45 inches and a height of 24.1 inches. This version, 540-5309-BEI, has a Beige finish color with a 2-inch socket. The skimmer is a very important part of the filtration system on a swimming pool.
